Joseph White

PASTOR | Envelope

Joseph was born in Apple Valley, California, but spent the majority of his early years growing up in Riverton, Wyoming. In later years, he lived in various communities throughout Central and Southern California. 


Joseph received his B.A. in History with a minor in Biblical Studies from Whitworth College. After his undergraduate work he served three years as an intern in the College Ministry at Faith Bible Church in Spokane, WA. He then attended The Master’s Seminary to pursue his Master of Divinity, which he received in 2007. In the same year, Joseph began teaching at Providence Classical Christian School in Lynnwood, WA where he taught for six years while serving as an elder at the church where his family attended.

Joseph began serving as a part-time pastor at GTBC in 2013. While serving GTBC, Joseph also worked as a teacher and administrator at a classical Christian school in Beaverton, OR, and as a Chaplain in the Navy Reserve for their first four years in Oregon. 


In 2021, Joseph received his Doctor of Ministry from The Master’s Seminary. Outside of scripture, Joseph finds his greatest inspiration from John Owen, John Newton, and John Piper. 


Joseph has been married to Julie since 2005, and God has blessed them with four boys, Isaiah, Daniel, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel. He spends his free time reading, serving his family, and serving the church. He also enjoys drinking coffee, having purposeful conversations, and watching Oregon State Football.

Estuardo (Peter) De La Rosa

Spanish Pastor

Peter Estuardo was born in Guatemala but spent most of his formative years in Los Angeles, CA. It was there that he met and married his wife, Nohemy, in 2016. During their time in Southern California, they welcomed their three children: Ezra, Lily, and Ellie.


He earned his B.A. in Biblical Counseling from The Master’s University and pursued a Master of Divinity at The Master’s Seminary, graduating in 2022. Before entering full-time ministry, he spent 12 years in the corporate sector in Southern California, where he held various management roles.


While attending seminary, Estuardo led an adult Bible study group at Grace Community Church and occasionally taught Sunday school. From 2021 to 2023, he was blessed to work at Grace Community Church as part of the administrative team for conferences.


In 2023, the Lord led Estuardo and his family to Oregon to join the ministry at GTBC. As a member of the pastoral team, he serves in the Spanish Ministry, providing biblical counseling and fulfilling various other roles. Outside of Scripture, he enjoys reading and listening to John MacArthur, John Owen, Jonathan Edwards, and R.C. Sproul, among others.


In his free time, he loves playing with his kids and spending quality time with his wife, often discussing God’s Word over a cup of tea or coffee.

Ben Doebler

Elder

Ben was born and raised in Eastern Tennessee, where he met and married his wife Amanda in 2006. While in Tennessee they welcomed their four children, Wyatt, Graham, Ellianna, and Weston before moving to Oregon in 2015 to assist with a church plant in Portland.


As a lay member of the church plant team, the Lord opened a door for Ben to start up a local business to financially support his family. This endeavor has grown from his garage to now employing 30 people. During the 4 years on the church team, Ben led small group bible studies and taught children’s classes on Sunday mornings.


In 2019, the Lord moved Ben and his family to join the ministry at GTBC. In addition to recently joining the elder team at GTBC, Ben serves in assisting leading worship on Sunday mornings and teaching adult Sunday School classes.


Apart from reading the Word, Ben enjoys reading and listening to sermons from John MacArthur, Alistair Begg, and Steve Lawson. One of his favorite passages of Scripture is Colossians 1.


During his free time, Ben is actively playing sports with kids, strumming the guitar, singing with his wife, and serving the church as needs arise.


Mark Reynolds

Elder

Mark grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and moved to Hillsboro, Oregon with his family in 2011. He is husband to Jennifer, and father to three children. Mark is constantly in awe of the blessings the Lord has provided him through his wife and children.


Mark attended Arizona State University and graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science and has worked in the technology industry as a software engineer and engineering manager at Intel and Amazon for the past 20+ years.


Mark was saved in an Assemblies of God church in Phoenix when he was 18 and the Lord has been transforming him into the image of Christ (1 Cor 3:18, Rom 8:29) ever since. While working full-time Mark served as a deacon and then an elder at a local baptist church in Hillsboro, OR, which the Lord sovereignly decided to dissolve in early 2022. Mark and his family then moved to Grace and Truth Bible Church where he began serving as an elder at GTBC in April 2023.


Outside of Scripture, Mark enjoys reading and listening to John Calvin, John Bunyan, Voddie Baucham, Paul Washer, and John MacArthur amongst many others.


In his free time, Mark enjoys playing board games with his family, playing golf with his wife, and sitting with his brothers one-on-one to discuss the depth and truth of God's Word.

Jayson Kinoshita

Deacon

Jayson Kinoshita was born in the Pacific Northwest in Portland, Oregon. In 2009 he was married to his lovely wife, Pamela Kinoshita, who gave birth to four blessings from the Lord: Sean, Jazmine, Elijha, and Hannah.


Jayson has worked as a welding fabrication supervisor for a local welding manufacturing company since 2007.


He and his family have been attending GTBC since 2013. They take great joy in utilizing spiritual gifts for serving and encouraging the body for the unification and edification of the saints at GTBC.


Along with spending time with his family, Jayson enjoys cooking as well as reading biographies and books on biblical theology and Church history.


Calvin Nail

Deacon

Calvin was born in Hillsboro, Oregon, and has lived in that area his whole life. He loves the Pacific Northwest and has a heart for the people in his community. He married his wife, Caitlin, in 2012 and they have four children: Saylor, Porter, Bodie, and Willow.


Calvin has worked as a service technician for a local Heating and Cooling company since 2015. He is a licensed journeyman and greatly enjoys his vocation and the opportunities that it gives him to interact and share the gospel with people from all walks of life.


Calvin is very passionate about evangelism and apologetics. He is always looking to grow in how he can communicate the gospel more effectively. Calvin is also very passionate about the local church and seeks ways to help the members mature in Christ.


When he is not spending time with his family he enjoys spending time in nature and reading books. Aside from the Bible, the book that has had the greatest impact on him spiritually is The Pilgrim's Progress. The preachers that have had the greatest impact on him are Paul Washer and John Macarthur.
